The Upper Community Center is a tragedy waiting to happen. Someone is going to get hit by a car due to lack of safe parking/lighting, and then change will be forced to happen. Things only seem to happen retroactively in this town. Parents should demand something better. Upper should be proactive. Perhaps build an actual/better community center with parking and open space. Upper really only offers sports for kids (severe lack of arts and culture opportunities for the non-athlete), so why not make necessary improvements? Kids play more than soccer…
