The OC spouter who thinks I, and anyone who doesn't live on a barrier island, is jealous couldn't be more wrong. First, I live in a large house on a bigger piece of property than you'll ever find on an island. It will never flood and I'm not putting out my hand for taxpayer's dollars to protect my property. I don't have to deal with the traffic that occurs when the tourists come to our area. Yes, there would be less jobs without tourism, but so what? We don't need beach replenishment for tourism because there will always be a beach!
