Handing out stimulus checks and federal unemployment benefits surely backfired to improve an already failing economy. It was a very unintelligent decision to do this without knowing the repercussions it would have on the supply chain. Someone needs to own up to the mistakes. Own it and create bipartisanship. We need to move forward and be a better country. Normalcy is the best mental health a child or an adult can receive. You created the shortages and not the supplier. Too much money too quickly creates a lot of damage in a short period of time. Covid is a factor but it’s not the top one.
