Coming from a military background (father and brothers staying in over 25 years), our military today is in bad shape. We have lowered our standards to make sure ANYONE can get in and have even started giving prep courses so they can pass the entrance test. When we had the draft, we had a variety of people in the service. If we brought back the draft today, there would be numerous riots. Rioting seems to be the norm today for everything. Such a sad country we have today. We are no longer looked upon as a great nation.
