Stone Harbor

Under Mayor Davies-Dunhour, every ordinance and resolution was discussed at least one meeting—two weeks—before introduction or a vote. That gave residents time to ask questions and be heard. Why has that best practice been abandoned? Recent examples include the Legion club license, the budget, and parking rates. Rushing major decisions without prior discussion shuts out the public and erodes trust. Transparency and process matter—slow down and let the community in.
