Why is it I have to get a permit to exercise my Second Amendment

Tuckahoe - Why is it I have to get a permit to exercise my Second Amendment right in NJ? Do we have to get permits to speak freely? Do we have to get permits to go to church? It's time for some serious talk about NJ's gun laws, and their blatant disregard for the Constitution. I didn't know legislators in Trenton get to pick and choose which Amendments of the Constitution they defend, given they swore to defend the Constitution in its entirety, in their oath of office. Time to start recalling.
