Tuckahoe - There have been a lot of South Jersey Gas propaganda ads in newspapers lately promoting a new gas line to the B.L. England power plant. We don't need the pipeline because we don't need the power plant. Enough electricity is produced by power plants in N.J. and surrounding states to make the B.L. England plant obsolete. Electricity is transported state to state through power lines, so the power doesn't have to come from a local power plant. The B.L. England power plant should close because it isn't needed.

Moderator's Note:
The power plants closest to the point of the use of the power are the most efficient. B.L. England pays taxes locally. The investors determine where the best investments should be made.
