Trump is doing a bad job. A really bad job. He started a war after saying "no new wars." Inflation is up, gas prices are way up. The national debt is ballooning "like you've never seen before." Trump has ignored the law and quashed the release of the Epstein Files. The strategy of Trump, Republican leaders and the Trump friendly media are pulling out the old socialim and communism" ploy. You may have noticed a lot of this kind of talk coming from Trump supporters all of a sudden. Nothing scares some people like those two words. Don't fall for it. It's an election strategy.
