Trump has called Democrats the following terms: scum, vermin, enemy from within, and left-wing lunatics, among other insults. He was happy to see the violent January 6th insurrection. I have no interest in being lectured by Republicans or the so-called liberal mainstream media about how both sides have to tone down the rhetoric. No President in our history has ever acted like Trump. By the way, we Democrats are not in charge of every disturbed person in this nation of 350 million people.
