Trump claims Iran is begging for a peace deal. Trump always claims the opposite of what is really going on. (i.e. his claim that he won the 2020 election. The reality is, he lost. Bigly. Or, he won the Iran war but the fighting continues) I think it’s Trump that’s begging for a deal. He’s painted himself into a corner and has no clue how to get out. Iran has gained the upper hand by taking control of the strait. As long as they control the strait they are calling the shots.
