This legislation is overdue relief to those who want to enjoy the benefits of the ocean and don’t need to occupy space on the beach above the waterline. It’s a common sense proposal that our out of touch Council doesn’t understand. Are they really concerned about the revenue from a handful of surfers and fishermen? How about eliminating FREE WEDNESDAYS ? How about actually enforcing the rules throughout town south of the promenade ? Wake up !
