Townsend's Inlet - Sea isle City taxpayer money should not be used to replace or refurbish the “ memorial “ benches on the promenade and in town. I’m not against the benches but the cost should be born by the family memorializing their family member. We are the only town that displays memorial messages all along its boardwalk or promenade. Perhaps it’s time to reevaluate the practice and certainly who is required to pay the tab.
