Townsend's Inlet - Guy Fawkes Day will shortly be observed in Great Britain as a day in which a plot to blow up Parliament and destroy representative democracy was prevented. Here in America we had such a day, January 6, 2021. In Great Britain it was the defeat for a king who swore allegiance to restoring monarchy. In America, it was to establish a dictatorship by suppressing a national vote. So do we celebrate January 6th as a victorious stand against an attempted coup or do we continue a lie that sustains the coup into 2024.
