Does TI have its' own police force?

Townsend's Inlet - Does TI have its' own police force? I tried calling the SIC police regarding the speeding on Landis Ave and they have not sent a car down this end. I'm very concerned for the children and seniors who need to cross this road. The drivers are speeding and ignoring people waiting in the crosswalks.
