Someday history will record the slow disintegration of the American story. While people go hungry, homeless and ill the country becomes obsessed and spends billions on a once a year football game called the “ Superbowl “. The obsession extends to physically blessed athletes who are paid a fortune to play a kids game. And don’t forget all of the housewives of the NFL. How did our society devolve into worshiping professional athletes and focusing on their exploits vs the accomplishments and needs of everyday citizens? It’s got to change. I’m sitting this one out.
