So the city passed an ordinance so that a police officer can sit at a construction site in Sea Isle and will pay the officer overtime and get reimbursed by the company doing the work who in turn will charge the city that amount in their billing? So why not ask the taxpayers how we want to spend our taxes? Does sea isle really need cops sitting on a 25 mile an hour road? Why not just put an empty cop car there we have plenty sitting in the parking lot doing nothing.
