Just read an article about Sea Isles taxes and the Person in the article said “that Sea Isle entered 2023 with a record-high budget surplus of about $8 million, a figure that reflects the city’s strong financial position overall as well as its conservative fiscal policies.” Didn’t the city use 4.2 million of the surplus in the 2023 budget? So now we have a 3.8 million surplus and that’s how didn’t we have tax increase. Why?
