Got the mayors message today and am wondering if what he says about the new community center and due to the magnitude of the building project, the city requires approval from the state comptroller before bidding, which they are in the process of obtaining. And they expect to go out to bid in May or June and receive bids in July. If they knew that this project needed approval then why did they wait until the building was being demolished. That’s the problem this town is reactive not proactive. So many projects taking forever.
