The black pine trees on the dunes are an invasive species. Not only are they ugly but they are dieing in great numbers and creating a significant fire hazard for the surrounding homes. If a fire starts on the dunes the wind will whip it into the homes and create a catastrophic California like fire that the SIC fire department has zero chance of extinguishing. Would someone in the Mayors office please wake up and PROACTIVELY address this obvious hazard before loss of property and perhaps lives.You get paid to protect the town. How about doing your job! ( this is not a new issue!)
