They would reduce blind spots from the dense bayfront shrubs and provide a safe gathering spot for children and gear when entering and exiting the beach. They could be made from the same aggregate used on the walkways. They could be done for little or no additional cost as the township resumes the walkway project after the summer. They were supposed to be included in the project from the get-go! Give them a try before investing in a $3 million sidewalk.
