Town Bank - There is a glaring weakness to any democracy. It can vote itself out of existence. A case in point is the 1933 German Weimar republic that was voted out and led to Hitler’s appointment as Chancellor in January 1933. Things that led to Hitler’s rise were: a bad treaty ending WW I by blaming Germany for the war, blaming a religious minority for undermining German society and touting national weaknesses that needed a tough guy to fix. Sound familiar? So on November 3rd vote as if your country and its constitution need to be saved from scare tactics.
