Town Bank - Remember the idea that Mayor Beck and Deputy Mayor Clark had to change the name of Lower Township to Cape May Township a few years ago? The reasoning that they spoke of was that local businesses were using the Cape May name because of greater name recognition. A better proposal would be to request that businesses use the dual name of Lower Twp./Cape May. These two council members should ask the businesses to be proud to be part of Lower Township, and not attempt to whitewash Lower's name for their interest.
