Town Bank - Middle township spouter: the reason here is so much confusion around marijuana and police officers is because of federal law.. it is still illegal under federal law, and therefore there is a conflict between state and federal law, and it my understanding that it revolves around the use of weapons while possibly under the influence. It is also my understanding that no current test can show an accurate indication of impairment. I personally feel alcohol is more dangerous, yet a less stressful life that required less escapism through drugs or alcohol would be the ideal.
