Town Bank - Manager Jim Ridgway has stated that existing curbing on the west side of Beach Drive has been covered by drifting sand. Common sense would dictate that the sand which has drifted into the roadway be removed thus widening the road. Resurface the road, add the bicycle logo and investigate adding speed bumps. Lower Township allowed conditions to deteriorate and neglected to keep the roadway clear. They are needlessly spending $3 million for a "Beach Safety Project." Contact the mayor, council, and manager to voice concerns and insist that our tax dollars be invested wisely.
