Town Bank - Just heard that Lower Twp. is going to try to ban dogs from the bay from 11 to 4! This is totally unfair to dog owners. We need to let them know how we feel. If some people don't like kids around would they ban them too? We have been bringing our dog to the bay with us for years. It's what he lives for! He is on a leash and cleaned up after. Being able to bring our dog was a big factor in deciding to live here. Please don't do this Lower Twp.!

Moderator's Note:

According to Lower Township Manager Jim Ridgway, the first reading of the beach rules and regulations for Lower Township passed May 4. The 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. time period that would exclude dogs from being on the beach would be in effect from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend. Council will hold the second reading at the next council meeting May 18.
