Town Bank - I witnessed a very close call Sept. 1 on the Englewood Road beach where a catamaran nearly ran over a paddle boarder. This would not have happened if the eight to nine catamarans were to be moved to the middle of the beach between Englewood and Delford roads. This would have two benefits. First, the beachgoers would have more room on the Englewood beach, especially at high tide. It would give the catamarans clear access to the water and the beach where they wouldn’t have to dodge paddle boarders, kayakers, and swimmers. Think about it for next year.
