Town Bank - I have a gripe with people who forget history and then make up or loss it. Now there is a lot of that going on even in the media. Let’s go back to the early ‘70s. In 1974 inflation was 12%. It rose to 14.5% by 1980. I recall Nixon’s Executive order that froze Wages and Prices. These orders showed how not to fight inflation. The next bad memory is the gas crisis where lines were long at stations. Even riots at some stations. So compared to the 1980’s, this decade isn’t too bad. We just have to persist.
