Town Bank - I am relieved to see that I am not the only person who thinks building a sidewalk along the bay is ridiculous. Not only will this increase the resident's taxes, but it will put our homes at risk by damaging the natural dunes. Concrete is not sufficient protection in the case of a major storm. If you want to walk on a raised sidewalk go walk on the seawall in North Wildwood. There is already a sidewalk along the bay on the opposite side of the street which is loaded with cracks, sand, and weeds. The street itself has been unkempt for years. Residents protested this year's ago. Our answer is no!
