A ranking Lower Township officer in a black-and-white marked SUV patrol vehicle dropped his daughter off at the beach in Cape May June 24 at 10:20 am. Now, ranking officers hold their rank because they have shown the ability to supervise other police officers and make $100,000 per year with great benefits. Why would he think this is a proper use of taxpayer money? If the township does not discipline this officer, I know why he thought it was OK.
