It is all how you look at it that makes life interesting. The words welfare, unemployment, inheritance and lottery winner; they all have something in common, there is no work involved in gaining compensation. What seems to contrast with these words is hard work, where it is necessary to perform a task or service before being compensated. Welfare is for the poor, and sometimes lazy, unemployment for the middle class retiree and seasonal business owner. The inheritance is mostly for the rich to keep them rich, and lottery winner is like getting struck by lightning. It's all how you look at it!
