I’m afraid to take my paycheck anymore for the work I do, so I’m now working for free. I’ve been told I’ll be labeled a capitalist if I take my check, and I fear shame. That’s why I’m working for free. Unfortunately I was having trouble paying my bills even before I gave up seeking payment for my work. I’m holding out for a bailout. Working for free is better than being known around town as “ The Capitalist” just for working for my paycheck. Even I know that.
