To commenters to spouts who have a valid point, and then are barraged with obviously foolish replies from either bots, or people that will take the opposite position on anything, to try and score political points, I suggest you try this. Just don’t engage with them! If there’s anything these types hate, it’s silence, and no recognition. Drives them crazy! Just don’t respond at all. When they finally realize the only ones left in the comments are of the same mind as them, they will depart for greener pastures. Herald print spouts, not comments, so deny them their soapbox!
