Cape May County is a one party system. There is no opposition from the other party. A Republican may say that is a good thing, but is it? The two largest mun. of L.T. and O.C. are devoid of a viable Democratic party, and the county slate is running unopposed in the upcoming election. The congressional contest will be contested and a good thing for democracy. Those who run for office must toe the party line. Superior court and municipal judges will be scrutinized when chosen. The line of politics and law becomes distorted.
