Watch the 8/5 Council Mtg. The Mayor has spoken out against this change on many occasions. He wants to keep the current organization in place to protect the volunteers who donate their time to keep us residents safe. Also, Mayor Carney has a long tenure as a volunteer firefighter in the Borough and supports their efforts.
