To the spouter in Ocean City, I’m pretty surprised your daughter enjoys the National Guard takeover of DC. I retired from DC 2 years ago and all my friends and co-workers are still there. This has nothing to do with crime. If it did, the National Guard would be in one of the smaller areas of DC that has a higher crime rate. But they are not. They are in NW DC and the Monument areas, neither of which have high crime. They are reduced to raking mulch and checking car registration on commuters. This is all for show. Don’t believe the hype!
