To the person who asked about why teachers create classroom wishlists, it’s likely because the budget for classrooms was cut in half while the administration hired new central office personnel at over 100k at least three times this year, creating at least three new positions. Teachers are still responsible for changing a classroom into a welcoming environment…which is expected to happen outside of contract hours (Particularly for kindergarten and third grades). I think you’re complaining about the wrong thing.
