To the people complaining about any disabled veteran getting a tax exemption in lower township, first this benefit was earned, second this exemption doesn’t cost the taxpayers of lower a penny, as this is a state program that reimburses the township for the taxes not paid by the property owners. Again this is an earned benefit that was paid for with blood sweat and tears. Please don’t disparage veterans over this benefit that is given at no cost to the taxpayer.
