To the Avalon Spouter, touting Gov. Christie tying a graduated gasoline tax to inflation and the needs of the Transportation Trust Fund in 2016: The Spouter referred to a SIC spouter telling him to do his research. Perhaps the Avalon Spouter should have done the same. He failed to point out that Christie raided the TTF causing it to go nearly bankrupt, such that in 2016 in order to fund a $2billion-a-year funding plan he added a 23 cent tax taking it from the lowest in the USA to one of the most expensive. It's still one of the highest in the country
