This needs clarification: most people are not against Veteran Deductions they appreciate the service given to our Country. A Veteran Deduction is $250 off of your property tax bill, reimbursed by the state. A 100% Disabled Veteran Exemption is canceling the property taxes NOT reimbursed by the State. Paid for by the tax payers in the town.Township Council should be paying attention to the bills in State that call for reimbursement to the municipality. Instead of spouting contact your local, county & state representatives. Tax payers are paying way more than they are aware!
