This is a key point many miss. The tax relief that nominally helps those who earns tips will expire in 2028, the year the Dems presumably take over the White House, should the polls hold. So they will be blaming the Democrats for higher taxes, even though it was the Republicans who set the tax cuts to sunset then. Meanwhile, the tax cuts for the wealthy are *permanent.*
