There are those of us who would have hid Anne Frank’s family. And those of us who would have told on the families that did. There are those of us who would have been part of the Underground Railroad, and those who would have signed up to help find the run aways and drug them back to slavery or death. There are those of us excusing ICE for breaking bones, shooting citizens in the face, and sending people to human rights violations prisons in foreign countries. Those of us once again joining the wrong side of history. . . And those of us who will not.
