The Union has been waiting for a response from the County & no effort to come to the table to negotiate. This lack of communication raises serious concerns. Does the County value its employees? Does it respect the essential services they provide every day? While frontline workers continue to serve the community, County management has already received raises. Meanwhile, the employees who keep operations running are left without a contract and without answers. The Union is ready & willing to negotiate in good faith. The question remains why isn’t the County?
