The recent comment from Cape May stating that they were forced to leave their once nice neighborhood in West Philadelphia and flee to the suburbs and now Cape May. West, North and Southwest Philadelphia have been unsafe for many years and now Northeast Philadelphia is rapidly becoming that way too. We left the Mayfair section years ago and today, we do not recognize the area. Why do some people have to ruin once beautiful neighborhoods. One more comment. Why do some people want to bring that element here. Again, our neighborhood was ruined by affordable housing .
