The other day while searching the Cape May Mall for classic clothes. I found the place off the beaten path, next to the Cape May Bank called The Niche. Inside I met a group of young Coast Guard graduates on leave from the Academy. They were there to plead with the owner to allow them to change their uniforms into street clothes. . The young and very attractive owner smiled and whisked them into the store and quickly provided a place a to change. I will never forget their look of relief and gratitude.
