The old go cart property near the Wildwood bridge should not be turned into another housing development. It would be better if the property was returned to a natural state. If replanted with trees, it could provide habitat for salt marsh birds that roost and nest in trees. It could also be great as a place for terrapins to lay their eggs. There aren’t many dry areas bordering the marsh that aren’t already developed. It would be an eyesore and a traffic hazard if any kind of housing went up there. Not every piece of land needs to have something built on it. This county is overdeveloped.
