The MUA brings in millions every year and earns millions more in interest. So why are contract negotiations stuck in neutral? Wastewater workers aren’t asking for miracles—they’re asking for good-faith negotiations. Instead, it’s delay, deflect, repeat. If there’s money to earn millions in interest, there should be room for honest bargaining. The public deserves transparency, and the workforce deserves respect.
