The mayor’s vanity project is a total loss for taxpayers. First he stacks the deck with a poorly advertised vote on a pool. His OC mayor crony must have told him it takes real work to manage. Subsequently our seniors, kids needing swim lessons and lifeguards needing testing must schlep to OC. Our lifetime mayor also decided we don’t deserve adequate exercise equipment because it would anger gym owners. Idea, maybe put this to bid and outsource to a local gym. PickleBall folks thought they were getting real courts. Nope. Bottom line…we got took!
