The mayor of Wildwood Crest meet with the Army Corp of Engineers and the DEP this week concerning the beach. I would love to know if anything was discussed to address our growing beach width in the Crest. If North Wildwood desires our sand or and sand from anywhere to rebuild their beach it must be discussed or providing a way to keep their sand in place, trap it there. Otherwise it will continue to wash south and get trapped in the Crest by the Cape May inlet jetty. Dons extended fishing pier will be dry again in 10 years. Fix or slow down the problem . Jetties are the answer.
