The Iran War was a military success but otherwise a massive failure imo. The U.S. military destroyed Iran's navy, and took out planes, radar sites and missiles launchers galore. But the current Iranian regime remains in control of the country, its hatred of the U.S. likely intensified and its doctrine of supporting Mideast strife unchanged.
