The Herald is the lifeblood of our county, keeping local powers in check as good local independent presses do. I subscribe, and will continue to, and I hope those of you reading this will consider as well. We are truly privileged to have people who care about us, who live among us, to continue to do real local coverage. Too many of us won't appreciate what we have until we lose it.
